Community Standards

Anylancer is built on trust between buyers and sellers. These Community Standards outline the behavior we expect from every member of our marketplace. They apply to all interactions on the platform — task listings, messages, orders, reviews, and profiles.
Violating these standards may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban. See our Terms of Service 14 for enforcement details.
1. Our Community Values
Every Anylancer member is expected to uphold these core values:
- Professionalism — Treat every interaction as a business relationship
- Honesty — Be truthful in your listings, capabilities, and communications
- Respect — Treat all users with dignity regardless of background
- Accountability — Honor your commitments and take responsibility for your work
- Safety — Help keep the platform secure for everyone
2. Respect & Safety
2.1 Zero Tolerance for Harassment
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Hate speech, slurs, or discriminatory language based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality
- Threats of violence, intimidation, or doxxing
- Sexual harassment or unwanted sexual content in messages
- Bullying, persistent negative targeting, or coordinated harassment
- Stalking or contacting users outside the platform without consent
2.2 Personal Safety
- Never share your password, government ID, or financial details in chat messages
- Do not request personal contact information to circumvent the platform
- Report any user who makes you feel unsafe
3. Honesty & Integrity
3.1 Accurate Representation
- Your profile must accurately represent your identity and qualifications
- Portfolio items must be your own original work (or clearly credited)
- Task listings must honestly describe what the buyer will receive
- Do not use stock images or others' work as your own portfolio
- Do not impersonate another person, company, or brand
3.2 Review Integrity
- Reviews must reflect your genuine experience with the order
- Do not offer incentives (discounts, free services) in exchange for positive reviews
- Do not threaten sellers with negative reviews to obtain free services
- Do not use multiple accounts to inflate ratings
- Sellers must not retaliate against buyers who leave honest negative reviews
4. Communication Standards
4.1 Professional Communication
- Keep all project communication on-platform through the messaging system
- Respond to messages and orders within a reasonable timeframe
- Use clear, professional language in all interactions
- Do not spam users with unsolicited messages or promotional content
4.2 Off-Platform Contact
Requesting or sharing personal contact information (email, phone, social media, payment details) to conduct transactions outside of Anylancer is strictly prohibited. This protects both parties and ensures buyer/seller protections remain in effect.
5. Content Standards
5.1 Prohibited Content
The following content may not be posted anywhere on Anylancer:
- Sexually explicit or pornographic material
- Violent, gory, or disturbing imagery
- Content promoting illegal activities
- Copyrighted material used without permission
- Malware, viruses, or malicious code
- Spam, phishing links, or deceptive URLs

5.2 AI-Generated Content Disclosure
If you use AI tools to create deliverables, you must disclose this to the buyer before they place an order, unless the task explicitly offers AI-assisted work. Delivering AI-generated content as "human-created" without disclosure is considered misrepresentation.
6. Fair Marketplace Practices
6.1 Pricing & Delivery
- Price your services fairly and deliver what you promise
- Do not use bait-and-switch tactics (advertising one thing, delivering another)
- Honor the delivery timeframes stated in your task listing
- Do not require buyers to pay additional fees outside the platform
6.2 Competition
- Do not sabotage other sellers' listings or reputation
- Do not create fake orders to boost your own metrics
- Do not use automated tools to manipulate search rankings
- Compete on the quality of your work, not deceptive practices
7. Reporting Violations
If you encounter behavior that violates these Community Standards:
- Report the content or user using the "Report" button on task listings, profiles, or messages
- Contact support at [email protected] or through our support ticket system
- For urgent safety concerns (threats of violence, exploitation), email [email protected]
All reports are reviewed by our team. We take every report seriously and investigate promptly. You will never be penalized for reporting in good faith.
8. Enforcement
Violations are handled based on severity, context, and history. Actions may include:
- Warning — for minor or first-time violations
- Content removal — offending listings, messages, or reviews removed
- Temporary suspension — account restricted for 1 to 90 days
- Permanent ban — for severe violations (fraud, harassment, illegal activity)
