Payment Terms
Last updated: May 01, 2026
These Payment Terms supplement our Terms of Service and govern all financial transactions on Anylancer. All values shown below are pulled from our current platform settings and may be updated by the administration.
1. Overview
Anylancer uses an escrow-based payment system. When a buyer places an order, the full payment is collected immediately and held securely until the order is completed and the clearance period expires. This protects both buyers and sellers.
2. Fees & Commissions
2.1 Buyer Service Fee
A 20% service fee is added to each order at checkout. This fee is clearly displayed before purchase confirmation.
2.2 Seller Commission
Anylancer retains a 15% commission from each completed order. Your net earnings = order amount − commission.
2.3 Fee Calculation Example
Example: $100 order
- Buyer pays: $100 + $20.00 service fee = $120.00
- Seller receives: $100 − $15.00 commission = $85.00
3. Payment Methods
Anylancer processes payments through:
- Stripe — Credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, etc.)
- PayPal — PayPal balance and linked payment methods
- Anylancer Wallet — Pre-deposited balance on the platform
- Offline Payments — Bank transfer and manual methods (where enabled by admin)
All payment data is handled by our processors in compliance with PCI-DSS standards. Anylancer does not store full credit card numbers.
4. Escrow & Clearance
4.1 How Escrow Works
- Buyer places an order → full payment is collected and held in escrow
- Seller delivers the work through the platform
- Buyer accepts the delivery (or it auto-completes after 3 days)
- Earnings enter the 14-day clearance period
- After clearance, funds move to the seller's available balance
4.2 Clearance Period
The 14-day clearance period begins when an order is marked as complete. During this time, funds are held to allow for potential disputes. If a dispute is opened, the clearance is paused until resolution.
5. Wallet & Deposits
5.1 Deposit Limits
- Minimum deposit: $10
- Maximum deposit: $1,000
- Processing fee: 2%
5.2 Wallet Rules
- Wallet balances are non-transferable between users
- Wallet funds may only be used for purchases on Anylancer
- Unused wallet funds may be refunded upon account closure (minus applicable fees)
- Wallet balances do not earn interest
6. Withdrawals
6.1 Withdrawal Limits
- Minimum withdrawal: $10
- Maximum withdrawal: $1,000 per transaction
- Processing fee: 2% (minimum $1)
- Limit: one (1) withdrawal request per calendar day
6.2 Withdrawal Process
- You submit a withdrawal request from your wallet
- An administrator reviews and approves/rejects the request
- Approved withdrawals are processed to your designated payment method
- Processing time varies by payment method and may take 1-5 business days
6.3 Finality of Withdrawal Requests
Withdrawal requests are final and cannot be cancelled once submitted. Please review your withdrawal amount and payment method carefully before submitting. Anylancer is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment processors.
7. Refunds
7.1 When Refunds Occur
- A dispute is resolved in the buyer's favor
- An order is cancelled by mutual agreement
- An admin cancels the order due to policy violation
7.2 Refund Destination
Refunds are credited to the buyer's Anylancer wallet (not the original payment method). Refunds are subject to a 3-day hold before becoming available.
7.3 Non-Refundable Items
- Task Boost (promotion) fees once the promotion period has begun
- Processing fees on deposits and withdrawals
- Service fees where the order was completed as described
8. Chargebacks
Filing a chargeback with your bank or payment provider instead of using our dispute system is a violation of our Terms of Service. Chargebacks bypass our protection systems and harm sellers.
Users who file chargebacks may have their accounts suspended pending investigation. Repeated fraudulent chargebacks will result in permanent ban.
9. Tax Responsibilities
Anylancer does not provide tax advice. Users are solely responsible for their own tax compliance, including reporting income earned through the platform.
- Sellers are independent contractors, not Anylancer employees
- Where required by law (e.g., US IRS 1099-K reporting for annual earnings exceeding the applicable threshold), we may report your earnings to tax authorities
- Consult a qualified tax professional regarding your tax obligations
10. Currency & Policy Changes
10.1 Currency
All transactions on Anylancer are conducted in United States Dollars (USD). Currency conversion fees applied by your bank or payment provider are not controlled by Anylancer.
10.2 Changes to Payment Terms
We may update these Payment Terms at any time. Material changes (fee increases, policy changes) will be communicated at least 30 days in advance via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance.
