Task Boost
How to promote your task listings for increased visibility and orders.
What Is Task Boost?
Task Boost is Anylancer's paid promotion system. Boosted tasks receive a "Promoted" badge and appear in premium positions across the platform — homepage, search results, and category pages — giving you significantly more exposure.
How It Works
- Go to your Seller Dashboard → My Tasks
- Click "Promote" on the task you want to boost
- Choose a boost package (different durations and visibility levels)
- Pay via Stripe, PayPal, or wallet balance
- Your task immediately starts appearing in promoted positions
Boost Positioning
Boosted tasks appear in premium placements:
- Homepage — Featured in the promoted section visible to all visitors
- Search Results — Appear at the top of relevant search queries
- Category Pages — Featured above organic results in your category
Promoted tasks are rotated fairly so all boosted tasks get equal exposure during their promotion period.
Tracking Performance
View detailed metrics for each boost from My Ads:
- Impressions — How many times your promoted listing was seen
- Clicks — How many users clicked on your listing
- Click-Through Rate (CTR) — Percentage of impressions that led to clicks
- Remaining Time — How much promotion time is left
Tips for Better Results
- Optimize your listing first — A great title, description, and images convert better
- Use competitive pricing — Promoted listings with fair prices convert more
- Have good reviews — Social proof increases buyer confidence
- Respond quickly — Fast response time keeps interested buyers engaged
Refund Policy
Task Boost fees are non-refundable once the promotion period has begun. If your task is paused or removed by admin during an active boost, the remaining promotion time is paused and may be resumed when the issue is resolved.
